Today, we are sharing some of the most creative and resourceful tips bloggers have when it comes to skin care. Did you know that your pantry contains some of the most useful beauty ingredients? We asked bloggers some of the at-home remedies they use for their skin care. Let us know if you have used any of these tricks and what other tips you have up your sleeve!

“Your pantry is a great place to find items than can be used in your beauty routine, some of my favorites consist of apple cider vinegar, olive oil, coconut oil as well as green or chamomile tea.” – Denyse Malette from reviewedforyourpleasure.wordpress.com

“There are so many products you can find in your kitchen or the grocery store to contribute to your beauty routine! I could go on, and on about this so I will just choose one…. The biggest multipurpose “food” product I can think of is coconut oil! You can use it as a moisturizer, a makeup remover, a hair mask, to shave with, mix it with sugar to make a scrub for your face or body, combine it with other ingredients to make a face mask (think bananas, avocado, honey – my skin is getting moisturized and glowing a little just thinking about it.) The possibilities are endless!” – Debbie from CosmeticsCounsel on YouTube

“My grandmother from Italy used to cut two slices from a raw potato and place them over her lids…she says that the starch from the potato provides extra moisture to the skin, and the cold touch tightens up the area. Personally I haven’t tried yet, but if my grandma’s beauty tips are as good as her cooking ones…that’s going to be epic!” Arianna from nymphasion.com

“Toothpaste! Use a dab of that on a bad acne spot before bed. Don’t rub it in, and it will tingle and seems to often help dry up spots.” – Nicole from MommaKauk.wordpress.com
