Very fast shipment! I just used it once and felt great. It's easy to squeeze those white heads after it. 5 stars!

I'm 42 years old a still struggle with spots of adult acne and occasional cystic acne along my jawline. I've tried countless products both over the counter and prescription. Many are too irritating and leave my skin blotchy, red and flaking. Others just don't do anything. Luckily this product seems to work well to clear up breakouts and reduce oiliness without irritating my skin. I've been using every night for one week and my skin looks noticeably better - less redness, a couple of breakout spots cleared up and no oily t zone by mid-day. Hopefully continued used will reduce future breakouts and keep the oily skin in check. I'm optimistic and I'm planning to purchase a couple of other Refresh products because I really like this one.

I have been very pleased with this product. I was on the hunt for a BHA product that I could use to help with my hormonal breakouts and hyperpigmentation. I am on my 2nd bottle and I know that this is something that I will continue to buy and use in the future. My skin has improved so much. After a full month of using this daily, when my cycle started, I didn't have one breakout. My skin is smooth and glowing and the hyperpigmention has improved a great deal. I'm pleased at punch!

I am 26 and I have been trying every single natural product out there to improve my adult acne ridden skin, and by far this has been the absolute best! It does not burn my skin, though at times when my skin is extra sensitive it will tingle slightly, I kind of like the tingle. It is not the deal breaker or single cure, of course, nothing is. And even though everyone is different, I will tell you what routine is working for me. I wash my face every morning with a mild oil free organic face wash (I use the Lerosett face wash), then I follow with Vitamin C/E & Hyaluronic acid drops. At night, I use Moroccan Rasshoul Clay as a mask for about 15 minutes, then I wash it off with warm water and follow with the Salicylic Acid peel (I apply with a cotton pad/ball), I leave the peel on for about 5 minutes and then gently rinse it with cool water, pat dry my face with paper or a clean towel and follow with the Vitamin C/Hyaluronic Acid drops. Do not apply near your eyes, and be careful around your lips, it will overdry it a bit. This routine has worked wonders for me! But let me tell you, you can have the best products in the world, they will not work if you do not eat a whole foods plant based diet, get at least 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep, and drink lots of water. Starches, sugars, and dairy happen to be my triggers. I've reduced my grain intake to sprouted breads and and soaked brown rice, and these seem to work well for me. Pizza is the ultimate acne magnet for me! After the holidays I had a setback and now I am working on getting back to improvement. This products is well worth it, along with quality skin nourishment to follow this, and a healthy diet, you will be on your way to clear skin! My only complaint is I want more! :) Good luck!

When we first got this, my son absolutely refused to use it. He said it burns. So, I bought him some other acne meds. Months go by. His acne cleared up and I thought nothing more of it. Today, I noticed his acne was coming back. I asked him if he would like me to buy more cream. No, he doesn't want the creams. He says they're messy and they don't work. He wants this peel. It turns out that's what he'd been using when his skin was so clear and he'd run out. "It burns, but it works." Go figure. This product was provided for review by Refresh Skin Therapy.

Anyone who has or has had acne knows that cleanliness goes a long way to help combat the pore clogging devil. Washing with normal soap though is not enough. Sometimes this process backfires and causes the skin to produce more sebum and react to irritation. Finding a way to cleanse the skin that is gentle as well as efficient and effective is key. There are several products on the market which offer salicylic acid as a component. Salicylic acid is derived from white willow bark. It's very astringent and is known to help clean out pores, clear skin of impurities, remove comedones (blackheads) and dry out existing whiteheads. Refresh sent me a complimentary sample of their Salicylic Acid 2% Acid Peel. The Salicylic Acid peel is a liquid much like a facial toner. To apply it you need a gauze pad or cotton ball. They recommend to soak your applicator in the peel liquid and buff your cleansed skin with it (in the evening by the way). When you are done you need, I repeat NEED, to rinse your face with cold water to neutralize the acid's action. Do not get it too close to the delicate eye region. For me that is from the top of the cheekbone all the way around the eye socket to the brow bone. If I get it even relatively close to there it burns like crazy. Also, be careful of getting it on your lips. Never thought I would have an issue near my lip line but - wowy - it stung. After rinsing apply a rich moisturizer. It may seem counter-intuitive BUT the skin does need moisture in order to heal and repair. Find an oil free facial moisturizer if oiliness is a problem for you. I was impressed how even after one use my skin felt noticeably smoother. Since I am using other anti-acne products at this time and don't want to create an excessive dryness issue I will probably only use this once a week.

I just don't know where to begin with this product. This has worked WONDERS for me. I usually don't like to write a really good review because they sound to start fake lol. But honestly this product has been the best thing I have ever tried for my face. At first I was super nervous to try it on my face. I bought it but never used it. Until maybe 1 month later I decided to give it a try. I thought "peel" would literally peel my face, which is why I held off on this product. But boy was I wrong. This product does NOT do that to you. It's super super gentle to your face, don't get me wrong it does sting a little and that's just because it has alcohol, but then it cools down and you don't even feel it on. I usually leave it on longer than 5 minutes around 7 minutes. Now for the results.. You honestly that SAME day will see results. You're face feels super soft and looks smoother!! Your acne starts to shrink and not be as red. And I've also noticed that your pores get smaller and shrink in size which is perfect! I've been using this product for 8 days now and I can truly say i love the way my skin is starting to look like and feel like. It's so amazing how this product works. It erases acne scars like an eraser! I'm not exaggerating. It smoothens your face in that first wash! I'm so happy with this product and will continue to buy this product. HIGHLY recommend this product to you ladies! Trust me you will love this product and will come to buy it again.

I've never tried any peels before because I am scared of the term "peel". I imagine my skin peeling off in a bad, sunburned-looking way. [re]fresh Skin Therapy sent me their Salicylic Acid 2% Peel and it's meant for oily and acne-prone skin. I was kind of scared and at the same time excited to try it. I don't know why but I had a feeling it wouldn't make my skin peel in a sunburned-looking way. The [re]fresh Skin Therapy's Salicylic Acid 2% Peel came in a white and green box. The vial/bottle came with a dropper to make dispensing easier. The salicylic acid 2% peel has a clear, water-like consistency and is unscented. I read the directions and ingredients before trying the product. The directions were very simple to understand. I incorporated the Salicylic Acid 2% Peel on my evening routine. I start of with cleansing my face with my usual cleanser. I pat my face dry and put a half-full dropper filled salicylic acid on my facial cloth. I buff my face by doing circular upward motion with the facial cloth with salicylic acid for about a minute. I then rinse my face with cool water to neutralize the salicylic acid. I then follow with my serum and sometimes a moisturizer. I've been using the [re]fresh Skin Therapy's Salicylic Acid 2% Peel for almost 2 weeks now every night. I'm glad that I don't see any peeling or unusual dryness in my skin. The salicylic acid 2% peel doesn't sting and feels like water. I noticed my skin has become less oilier. I also stopped using my acne spot treatment cream and my acne haven't been acting up at all. I've had less acne breakouts and my pores appear clearer too. My skin also looks brighter and radiant.

Acne is a constant concern for me. I tested out a few topical treatments but none have come close to offer quick and visible results that this product. It's an easy-to-use, one-step acne treatment pad that reduces acne breakouts and promotes clearer skin. Perfect for acne, hyperpigmentation and premature aging, unclogs and reduce appearance of pores. It's a small bottle but with just a dab in the evenings, the bottle will last a long time with amazing results.

Even at the age of 27 acne breakouts still seem to find me. I thought this would all end after the teenage years?! Nope, not for me. Finding treatments have been unsuccessful for me. I don't have severe breakouts, just around my chin and lower facial area and just annoying. Changing the diet doesn't seem to matter much either. So I figured why not try out the Salicylic Acid 2% Daily Gentle Peel just to see if that made much of a difference. Now I'm new to using Salicylic acid so I really don't have much to compare it to. I like that this product keeps it simple though; only 3 ingredients: Purified Water, Alcohol, Salicylic Acid. It's said to be great for Razor Bumps, Acne, Oily Skin, Acne Scars, Blackheads, Whiteheads, Rosacea, Melasma, Warts, Hyperpigmentation, Fine Lines, Wrinkles, Enlarged Pores, Age Spots, Sun Spots, Eczema, Seborrheic Keratosis, Hyperkeratosis, Actinic Keratosis, Keratosis Pilaris, Foliculitis. For me though, I found it worked nicely for my acne popups. Using this product is really simple. I use it in the evening after my shower - although you can use it as often as you can tolerate it. Saturate a gauze pad and gently buff skin then rinse with cool water to neutralize. Then, follow with a moisturizer to replenish moisture. This stuff has been like a miracle worker for me. It cleared up the acne without any pain or discomfort. I can honestly say this is a great product for those who need it!

This has been a life saver for my adult acne. I'm pretty sure I've tried everything out there, including minocycline, differin, and many products with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. The only thing that worked before this was minocycline, but I couldn't continue to take antibiotics forever and as soon as I stopped taking it, my acne came right back. I've tried Salicylic Acid products before, and for some reason, they never worked for me. I couldn't understand why everyone recommended salicylic acid products for acne. Until I got a couple professional acid peels that worked awesome for my acne. I loved the results, but hated the days of peeling and there was no way I wanted to pay for ongoing peels, so I started searching peels that I could do myself, at home, and found this. I'm so glad I gave this one a try - it's worked like a miracle - results are just as good as the minocycline and the professional chemical peels, but without the cost and recovery time. My skin looks perfect all the time now - NO PEELING and no detrimental effects from antibiotics. I have fair, sensitive skin, so started off only using this a few times/week. I now use it daily. I have combination skin with an 'I' zone (as opposed to a 'T' zone), so I pretty much use it all over my face, except my cheeks (which will dry out if I use it there). This perfectly controls my oily skin without drying me out. I couldn't be happier with my skin now.

What really attracted me to this product was that it was from Willow Bark. I have never heard of anything being made out of that for your skin. Of course there are so many skin peel companies and you never know what to use but this is perfect for at home. You can achieve good results at home without going and spending tons of money at a salon. I can say this because I use to own a salon and did skin care and I know the expense you can do by having it done in the salon. I was really happy with this product because it can take care of crows feet and sun spots as well as hyperpigmentation. I have been using this with some serum after and have not had any problems. I know there is a little alcohol in it but if you use a good moisturizer or serum it won’t dry you out! I like how it made my pores look much smaller too! I am going to continue using this it works! I recommend this if you have any of the other problems listed with your skin it will help you! Believe me this is a really nice product and I am happy I tried it out!

Now here is a product I had personally never tried, yes I had made DIY skin peels, and I have used anti aging products that have salicylic acid in them but I have never used it just as a peel. So I was excited to give it a try. I read the reviews from others because admittedly I was a bit worried putting a product on my face for a peel because I have such sensitive skin, but the more I read I realized many were getting great results & even the ones complaining of it being to weak & not strong enough made me realize it was gentle & thats how it should be, I am guessing they want it to burn & I am looking for a gentle peeling that leaves a healthy glow. And that is exactly what I got from this product, a gentle peel that leaves skin, glowing, healthy & refreshed. Again I am all about gentle so I know it will take longer to get results for scaring, dark spots etc, but it did help skin look brighter right away & stopped breakouts. I would first wash my face then apply the [re] fresh peel, I only left it on like under a minute & then rinsed with coll water as the directions state, I did follow that with a cool baking soda water wash & then rinsed that & applied raw coconut oil as a moisturizer. I love that this product has no artificial colors, fragrance, or preservatives Again I have very sensitive skin & I did get a bit of irritation near my nose crease area after the first couple of uses so I changed to applying it to that area last so it was only in contact there for seconds before I rinsed it off & the irritation stopped. I have also a few times just avoided putting it anywhere near the edges of my nose. I do not leave the peel on long & it works great for me. Some are upset that this peel has alcohol in it & I know for some alcohol can be a bit drying, I actually put alcohol on my skin at times to soften it & to reduce oil so I personally like alcohol in skin care if not over used.

I am a 68 year old grandmother with fair hair and fair skin. Thankfully, it's been many years since my skin would break out, but I now have had to deal with older skin that does not shed as quickly or efficiently as it used to The texture of the skin on my forehead, cheeks and chin became definitely thickened and course feeling, so I decided to try this product. I have been using it now for about 10 days and I can very happily say my problem areas are smooth and more supple - all with no visible peeling or flaking skin. I was pretty hesitant about trying something with only 2% active ingredient, but the satisfaction guarantee helped me decide to try this product. I am pleased and will buy another bottle when my supply gets low. So far, it hasn't done anything for those lines when I smile or the creases that are now forming above my upper lip; but I hope something may happen with long term, continued use.

My sister-in-law has a problem with acne on her face. She used some of the expensive products, some worked, others, not so much. She tried this Salicylic Acid 2% Daily Gentle Peel on her face daily for a few days. She said it burned a little, but not much. She saw some improvement on the first day and her acne was gone in three or four days. She loves this product and will use it if the acne comes back again.

I have been using this product on a daily basis and I love that it's gentle enough that I can use it daily. I have been looking for a product that would help with my oily skin, but more than that, I wanted something that would make my skin look clearer and younger. So far I've had great results with it and I plan to continue using it. I recommend this for anyone that is looking to achieve younger looking skin without having to have a costly professional facial peel. http://www.terrislittlehaven.com/2014/08/08/daily-gentle-facial-peel/

http://momsownwords.com/38508/refresh-salicylic-acid-2-peel-review-refreshpeels/ I wanted to give this product a try because I watched a You Tube video by an expert make-up artist who claims that the only way to get rid of those nasty black heads is to use salicylic acid. Now, I don't have a ton of black heads, but a couple here and there on my nose. I do have huge pores and if anything can help to shrink them, I'll give it a try! Iv'e been using the product for four nights now. The first thing that I noticed is that the product smells like alcohol. There is indeed alcohol in this formula. I was actually amazed at how well the Refresh cleaned. I had just washed my face with a different cleanser, so I expected it to be pretty clean before using the Refresh. Apparently, there was still a ton of bb cream left on my face, because after wiping the Refresh on my face, my cotton balls were make-up colored. As a result, my face felt extremely clean after using this. I also noticed it was pretty soft. My face tone looked fairly even. This did not make my face red or irritated. I did follow up the process with a cool water rinse and with a moisturizer, as the product recommends. I noticed my pores on my nose looked slightly smaller and certainly cleaner. The pores everywhere else looked the same. I like the results I am seeing as far as an extremely clean and exfoliated face with reduced pores, and I do plan to continue using this product

I know lots of people would shake their fists at me tooting this is a toxic chemical, they may be right. After reading up on this Wikipedia says, "As a topical agent, and as a beta-hydroxy acid (and unlike alpha-hydroxy acids), salicylic acid is capable of penetrating and breaking down fats and lipids, making it capable of causing moderate chemical burns of the skin if at very high concentrations. It is capable of damaging the lining of pores in such cases if the solvent is alcohol, acetone, or an oil" {source}. That is pretty scary, but...like with anything in this world, common sense should be exercised. I choose to review this product because I do suffer from acne and wanted to see if this would work. And it did. It may be toxic in large quantities and dangerous if swallowed, but most essential oils are too! Salicylic acid is derived from the bark of the willow tree. It was used for generations and generations by Native Americans to reduce fever and control aces and pains. Now that we know a little about what salicylic acid is, let's move onto my review. Here is my acne spot before I used this peel. I know, it looks pretty bad!! This is the next day after my first treatment. All the spots around my mouth are now completely gone.. The big one is a little smaller, still red though. This is my second treatment. It looks a bit better, smaller and not so red. The pimple down at the bottom is all but gone by this point. Now that I have bared my bare face to the world and embarrased myself to high heaven and back: This stuff works, and pretty darn good at that. The bottle tells you to wash your face then apply to a cotton ball and rub all over; rinse with cool water then apply a moisturizer. I did this the first time, but the second and third time I just did a spot treatment. I can not use it too often for fear my skin would dry out and peel, but an occasional spot treatment is worth it. I would give this product **** (4) stars for effectiveness, but minus one for safety. I have small kids and worry about them getting ahold of something this potent. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using http://www.wonderfullymessymom.com/2014/08/salicylic-acid-2-daily-gentle-peel.html#.u9ua7pldu9y

I didn't think I would still have an acne problem as an adult but I do. I also have a lot of acne scars from when I was a teenager. I have tried a lot of different beauty products to minimize the scars and clear my skin. This peel is gentle enough to not irritate my skin further and it does a great job of clearing up my acne. I have noticed that my skin looks a lot cleaner with less blackheads and redness. I use it every other night and put on moisturizer afterwards.
